JUDGING CRITERIA

NGBC Judges Criteria
C List
For aspiring judges who have shown an interest in the Breed and have the support of the Club. A special interest in the Breed over a 5year period.
Must meet JEP Level 1 criteria to be able to judge.

 

B List
SPECIALISTS:
A special interest in the breed over a 5year period, with 12 classes and a minimum of 25 dogs judged (including those judged at a Breed club judges assessment).
To have attended at least one breed specific judging seminar and passed an assessment where applicable / Breed Assessment Day and passed Multiple Choice exam.
NON-SPECIALISTS
A special interest in the Breed over a %year period, with 12 classes and a minimum of 25 dogs judges of this Breed at Open Shows or Championship Shows without CC’s (including those judged at a Breed Club judges assessment) (save in exceptional circumstances)
To have attended at least one breed specific judging assessment and passed the assessment with a minimum pass of 75% / Breed Assessment Day and passed Multiple Choice Exam.

 

A3 List
SPECIALISTS
Minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the Club.
To have judged a minimum of 40 dogs of the Breed at Championship Shows where Challenge Certificates are not on offer, or at Open shows, plus a Club Show.
To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer, and passed the relevant examination on KC regulations and Judging Procedures.
To have attended a seminar given by a KC Accredited Trainer on Conformation and Movement.
To have attended a Conformation and Movement, Hands-on Assessment, conducted by a KC Accredited Trainer and passed the assessment.
To have attended at least one breed specific judging seminar run in accordance with the KC Code of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where applicable.
To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their 1st entry in The Kennel Club Stud Book (save exceptional circumstances).
To have stewarded at 12 shows
NON-SPECIALISTS
Minimum of 7 years judging experience in any one breed (to include 5 years in this breed) and have the support of the Club.
To have awarded CC’s in at least one other breed.
To have attended at least one breed specific judging seminar run in accordance with the relevant Kennel Club of Best Practice and passed an examination and/or assessment where appliable.
To have bred and/or owned a minimum of 3 dogs of any breed when they obtained their 1st entry in the Kennel Club Stud Book.

A2 LIST
For persons who fulfil all the requirements for the A3 list and who have been assessed in accordance with KC requirements in accordance with KC requirements and accepted by The Kennel Club for inclusion on an A” List and have the support of the Club.
A3 LIST
SPECIALISTS
For persons who have previously been approved by The Kennel Club to award CC’s in the breed, have completed their first and to have the support of the Northern Griffon Bruxellois Club.
NON-SPECIALISTS
As per Kennel Club recommendations judges who have previously been approved to judge the Toy group at general championship shows appear on this list.
This list is not necessarily an entire list of these judges.
