JUDGING CRITERIA

The Northern Griffon Bruxellois Club

C LIST

To meet JEP Level 1 requirements:

Minimum of 5 years proven interest in pedigree dogs
Attend a requirements of a Dog Show Judge seminar (not mandatory to take and pass exam)
Attend a Conformation and Movement seminar
Complete a minimum of 2 full days stewarding appointments

B LIST
Attend a breed specific seminar and passed hands on assessment with a minimum pass of 75%
Or attend a Breed Appreciation Day and pass Multiple Choice Exam (MCE)

A3 LIST
SPECIALISTS

Minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the Club
To have judged a minimum of 40 dogs at Championship Shows without CCs, or at Open Shows
To have judged a breed Club show
Take and pass KC Requirements of a Dog Show judge examination
To have passed KC Points of a Dog assessment
To have completed a further 10 full days stewarding (12 total)
To have passed an A3 assessment
To have owned/bred a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their first entry in the KC Stud Book (save for exceptional circumstances)
Or to have completed JEP Levels 2 & 3

NON SPECIALISTS

Minimum of 7 years judging experience in the breed and have the support of the Club
To have judged a minimum of 40 dogs at Championship Shows without CCs, or at Open Shows
To have judged a breed Club show
To have awarded CCs in at least one other breed
To have passed an A3 assessment
To have owned/bred a minimum of 3 dogs when they obtained their first entry in the KC Stud Book (save for exceptional circumstances)
Or to have completed JEP Levels 2 & 3
